Essential Oils for Kids’ Ailments
A part of raising well-rounded children includes raising healthy children. We here at The Mommies are all about keeping our kids as healthy as possible and using natural methods (when possible) to do so.
One of my first experiences with an essential oil goes a little something like this: Before I had ever used one, I admit I was skeptical. That
is, until I tried it. I used Doterra’s Wild Orange Oil to help calm my anxiety. I was told to only use two drops in my water, but accidentally put five drops. Whoops! The oil definitely made me relax – a little too much! I had used too much and became an immediate believer in the potency of these oils! I started using the recommended amount of one-two drops and was relaxed, but not so much that I couldn’t hold my head up like the first time I used them. It was a natural healthy way to knock my anxiety levels down, and I could use it whenever it was needed.
Eva, a mom of two, gives her testimony on essential oils and how they have impacted her family:
As a mom of two young children, I am constantly looking for products that are going to be safe and natural. A friend of mine had mentioned using Doterra Essential Oils on her family and I was skeptical as to their true power and benefit. Now, looking back, I’m sad I didn’t use them sooner (before pregnancy and afterward).Doterra Essential Oils have been wonderful for my family for many ailments: from the minor cuts, scrapes and bruises to the occasional indigestion, mild seasonal discomfort, and support of the immune system. What I love so much is that essential oils don’t just mask symptoms, they bring therapeutic change to the body at a cellular level, dealing with the root issue and supporting your system as a whole. Because of legalities, I can’t tell you that oils will “cure, treat or prevent” issues you may be facing, but I can give you testimonies (many from myself and my family) about how oils have been life-changing. I want to help mamas like me, and others, create a healthy home life for their families in a modern way using ancient techniques.
Kid-safe essential oil blends for the whole family
Eva uses her 10 ml rollerballs to create a blend of Doterra essential oils and fractionated coconut oil. You can use any carrier oil you prefer; Eva’s favorite, however is the fractionated coconut oil. You can also diffuse these same blends in your diffusor (just add the oils in water- no coconut oil).
