Easy Peasy Tuna Casserole With Rice and Peas.
We loved this tuna casserole recipe over the weekend! It was so easy and gone in less than two days! We eat a lot of fish and usually not in a casserole, but this was so easy and yummy that it’s become a new favorite on the weekly menu.
What you’ll need:
- 8oz of Albacore tuna
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup of milk (we used almond milk)
- 2 cups of rice (cooked as directed)
- 1 cup of organic peas
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- breadcrumbs (we used panko bread crumps)
Directions: Cook rice as directed. While preparing the rice, mix cream of mushroom soup, almond milk, pepper, and soy sauce in a 9×13 casserole dish. Add rice and peas once done and mix well. Cook at 350 for 30 minutes. Add breadcrumbs and cook an additional 5 minutes or until bread crumbs are golden brown.
