Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. – Matthew 6:34
Wow, do these words ring true to me today. Isn’t it awesome how in times of trouble, stress or worry, God reveals Himself to us and comforts us. I opened my email to find this verse today and it was EXACTLY the reassurance I needed to see.
Worry comes easy to me. I actually have Philippians 4:6 printed and framed in our home to remind myself daily not to worry. Still, I find my mind worrying, but God will provide for us no matter what happens. We must replace the worry in our minds with faith. God knows our every need. We must trust in Him, showing our faith.
When we worry or have anxiety, it is a sign that we don’t trust our heavenly Father to take care of us. God will provide for us. His plan is greater than we could ever imagine. Sometimes, it’s hard to see this as an event in our life may just be one puzzle piece to the master piece He is building, but we must have faith. Our job is to face today with trust knowing that God has our tomorrows perfectly planned.
Let God’s word sustain you in times of worry and trouble. Give your burdens to Him and show your faith. He will never fail you.
