I’ve got you covered. You may have heard of it, you may even use it, but if not, I’ll tell you all about it.
It’s called Stitch Fix, and it’s your very own personal shopper….and it’s not expensive.
Yes, it’s true, we can all have our very own personal shopper for next to nothing.
Here’s what you do. Go to this link, and fill out your style profile. It will ask you questions ranging from your style preferences, your size and height, what your hobbies are, where you spend most of your time. It gets really detailed, but this is good because all of these questions allow Stitch Fix to cater to your style more closely. It also asks the price range of what you want to spend on each item, which I think is great.
Then, you pay $20 for the styling fee. You choose when you want your “fix” mailed to you. You will receive a box in the mail (it’s like Christmas) full of goodies. When you open the box, there are five items that are geared toward your style/size. These can be clothes and/or accessories (depending on what you prefer).
If you choose to purchase any of the items, your $20 styling fee goes as a credit toward those items. If not, just put the clothes back in the box and send them back (free shipping both ways). You have three days to decide if you want to keep them. You can try them on, hang on to them for a few days to decide….it’s perfect!
Still not sure? Go to this link anyway, and fill out your style profile and get a feel for what Stitch Fix is, and then if you still aren’t sure, you’re not committed to the $20 styling fee, unless you choose to have clothing/accessories sent to you.
Here’s the best part. Say you keep one item and send back four. You then go online and rate the items that were sent to you and make notes as to why you didn’t like them, if they didn’t fit, etc… so that Stitch Fix will be able to better tailor to your style/size next time around!
If you decide to get your “Fix’, be sure to let us know how you liked it!
